The Robotic Trader's verdict: Forex GOLD Investor is Not Recommended. The three accounts its sales page presents as "FULLY Verified" live performance are demo accounts, and the vendor's one real-money account has fallen 46.67% from its peak against a marketed maximum drawdown of 4.37%.
The proof on the sales page is not real-money trading. Forex GOLD Investor trades gold on MetaTrader 4 and 5. Its sales page shows three accounts under the heading "Live Performance on a FULLY Verified Myfxbook Account". All three are demo accounts, trading simulated money. The vendor's Myfxbook profile lists six accounts in all, and only one of them is real money. That one is not on the sales page.
The real account was funded once, with $708.67, on 18 November 2025. By 1 October 2026 it showed +145.10%, but nearly all of that came in a single month: January 2026 made $1,819, while the rest of the record, taken together, lost $791. Its balance peaked at $3,023.23 on 2 March 2026, fell to $1,612.39 on 31 August, a 46.67% drawdown, and had not recovered by 1 October. The sales page quotes a maximum drawdown of 4.37%, from a 22-year backtest.
The way it trades explains the numbers. It wins about seven trades in ten, but its average loss, $23.20, is more than twice its average win of $10.63, so it depends on rare large wins like January's. We also tested it against FTMO's challenge rules on FTMO's own data, because the sales page says it passed a "$200,000 PROP FIRM Challenge". It made money over the full test, but every pound of that came before its latest re-optimisation; on the 403 trades after it, it lost money. Under our method, that is a fail.
What counts in its favour: the real account is genuine and verified by Myfxbook, every trade had a stop loss at the broker, the developer publishes detailed release notes, and the product carries a 30-day money-back guarantee on its own site. What would change our verdict is set out in the disclosures below.
This review was conducted under our Track 1 framework, which applies where an Expert Advisor has a live record monitored by a third party. Forex GOLD Investor has one real-money account on Myfxbook, with both its track record and its trading privileges verified by Myfxbook. The other five accounts on the vendor's profile are demo accounts, which we record and discount.
We read all 2,267 trades in the real account's history and checked them against Myfxbook's own totals. They match to the cent, and our balance drawdown matches Myfxbook's 46.67%. We then read the vendor's sales, blog and affiliate pages, both MQL5 product listings with their release notes, reviews and comments, ForexPeaceArmy and Trustpilot.
Separately, we ran a Track 3 prop firm conformance test: the free MQL5 demo, on the developer's default settings, in the Strategy Tester logged into an FTMO Free Trial so that the prices, spreads and commission were FTMO's own. How those tests work is set out in our methodology. The criteria that decide this review are there too: a drawdown materially larger than the marketing implies is an automatic fail, and a high win rate with a poor payoff ratio is a warning rather than a strength.
The vendor's Myfxbook profile lists six accounts. One is real money, and it is not the one the sales page shows. Figures below were recorded by us on Myfxbook.
Counted by us from the real account's closed trades, against each day's opening balance.
An average holding time of 1 hour 28 minutes can hide long positions, so we publish them. A floating loss still open and unrecovered 90 days after it began rules out a Recommended verdict under our methodology.
Quoted from the vendor's sales page, read on 1 and 2 October 2026.
A conformance test of one configuration against one firm's rules, not a review. Run on FTMO's own server data under our published method; every result is on Best EA for a Prop Firm Challenge.
The real account is genuine, and the developer is open about how the product works.
Every item here is sourced to the vendor's own accounts or pages, or to our test.
We read all 2,267 trades on the real account (they reconcile exactly with Myfxbook's totals), the summary pages of the five demo accounts, the vendor's sales, blog and affiliate pages, both MQL5 listings with their release notes, reviews and comments, and ForexPeaceArmy. We ran the free MQL5 demo against FTMO's rules on FTMO's own data. We did not buy the Expert Advisor, run it on a live account, or test its optional settings, including its drawdown protections and its NFA and No_Hedge settings.
