The Robotic Trader's verdict: Forex Diamond EA is Not Recommended. The vendor's own real-money account, which ran for more than six years, made a profit factor of 1.01 and a 61.55% drawdown, and has been deleted from Myfxbook; the account that replaced it is 15 months old and owes most of its profit to one month.
The long record exists, and it is weak. Forex Diamond EA is sold by FXAutomater, the vendor of Forex GOLD Investor, and has been on sale since at least 2013. From March 2019 the vendor ran it on a real-money IC Markets account and, in May 2024, marketed that account on the sales page as its "REAL-MONEY ACCOUNT". By November 2025 the account had closed 14,270 trades at a profit factor of 1.01, with a 61.55% maximum drawdown and an absolute gain of 7.07%; swap charges of A$357.43 were larger than its whole profit. Myfxbook now reports that account as deleted.
The replacement is short and uneven. The account the sales page shows today opened on 18 June 2025, the day the vendor released version 6.5 with "full optimization for current market conditions". It is real money and verified by Myfxbook, and its risk control is sound: every trade we read was 0.01 lots with a stop loss. But after about 15 months it shows a profit factor of 1.10, a 21.71% drawdown against the 3.62% the sales page quotes from a backtest, and 59% of its profit came in March 2026 alone.
The sales page overstates the evidence. Two of the three accounts it labels "LIVE PERFORMANCE Verified by MyFxbook!" are demo accounts, and it says its 40+ recovery factor "means that the EA earns 40X more money than it loses", a claim its own backtest profit factor of 1.21 contradicts. We also tested the default settings against FTMO's rules on FTMO's own data, because the sales page says "Prop Firm (FTMO) Compatible". It failed.
This verdict rests on the vendor's own six-year record, not on a lack of data. The strongest point in the product's favour is that the deleted account ran versions before 6.5; if the current account reaches 24 months with a stronger edge, we will test it again. What would change our verdict is set out in the disclosures below.
This review was conducted under our Track 1 framework, which applies where an Expert Advisor has a live record monitored by a third party. Forex Diamond EA has one current real-money account on Myfxbook, with its track record and trading privileges verified by Myfxbook. The same account is published as MQL5 signal 2379493, so the two are one record, not two. The vendor's other two current accounts are demo accounts, which we record and discount.
We read all 2,517 trades in the current account's history and checked them against Myfxbook's own totals. They match to the cent, and our balance drawdown matches Myfxbook's 21.71%. We read the vendor's deleted real-money account from an archived copy of its Myfxbook page dated 7 November 2025, and the vendor's earlier sales page from an archived copy dated 24 May 2024, both held by the Internet Archive. We also read the current sales and affiliate pages, both MQL5 listings with their release notes, reviews and comments, and ForexPeaceArmy.
Separately, we ran a Track 3 prop firm conformance test: the free MQL5 demo, on the vendor's default settings, in the Strategy Tester logged into an FTMO Free Trial, so that the prices, spreads and commission were FTMO's own. How those tests work, and the criteria we apply to every review, are set out in our methodology. Among them: a drawdown materially larger than the marketing implies is an automatic fail.
The vendor's current real-money account, and the one it replaced. Current figures were recorded by us on Myfxbook on 9 October 2026.
A floating loss still open and unrecovered 90 days after it began rules out a Recommended verdict under our methodology. Measured on the current real account, from all 2,517 trades.
Quoted from the vendor's sales page and MQL5 listing, read on 9 October 2026, against the accounts behind them.
A conformance test of one configuration against one firm's rules, not a review. Run on FTMO's own server data under our published method; every result is on Best EA for a Prop Firm Challenge.
The way it trades is controlled; the problem is how little it makes.
Every item here is sourced to the vendor's own accounts or pages, or to our test.
We read all 2,517 trades on the current real account (they reconcile exactly with Myfxbook's totals), its MQL5 signal, the two demo accounts, the vendor's Myfxbook profile, the archived pages of the deleted account and the earlier sales page, the current sales and affiliate pages, both MQL5 listings with their release notes, reviews and comments, and ForexPeaceArmy. We ran the default settings against FTMO's rules on FTMO's own data. We did not read the deleted account's trade history, only its archived summary page, and we did not run Forex Diamond EA on a live account or test its RecoveryMode or NFA settings.
