FX Scalper X EA Review MT4/MT5

Not Recommended (FX Scalper 4X) MT4/MT5 Multi-pair forex — grid $488.88 lifetime, both EAs Verified 27 Oct 2026
Which EA does this review rate? One FX Scalper X licence buys two Expert Advisors: FX Scalper X and FX Scalper 4X. Only FX Scalper 4X has a real-money record long enough for us to judge, so the verdict on this page is for FX Scalper 4X. FX Scalper X's own real-money accounts began in February and April 2026 and are both losing; it is too new for a verdict, and we report what its accounts show without rating it.

The Bottom Line

We rate FX Scalper 4X Not Recommended because the vendor's published 4X trade histories show an averaging grid: when the price moves against an open position, another position is opened in the same direction at a worse price. On the account the sales page features first (Myfxbook 12030755, July 2023 to October 2026), 4,568 of 8,856 trades were added this way, in groups of up to 78 positions. The sales page's own 4X tab calls it "our grid trading algorithm", while the same page lists "No grid · no martingale" among the things every plan includes.

The strongest case for it is real. The vendor lists seventeen real-money 4X accounts on Myfxbook, and the eight we read in full are all verified for track record and trading privileges. The featured account, still trading, has made $511,609.23 of closed profit on $219,930.05 of deposits, and more has been withdrawn than was deposited. Its profit factor is 1.97, and the profit does not depend on a handful of trades.

What the record shows overall. Averaging carries risk the profits do not show. Single positions were held open for up to 407.3 days, and one group of overlapping positions for 466.6 days. Across the vendor's real 4X accounts, Myfxbook drawdowns range from 7.30% to 77.86%, and four exceed 75%. On 27 October 2026 the featured account's equity was 76.56% of its balance, with $110,384.69 in open losses. The sales page says "TP + SL on every trade" and "The algos use fixed stop losses on every trade by design". On the Passive+ account, whose full 14,593-trade history we read, Myfxbook recorded no stop loss or take profit on any trade; a stop managed inside the EA would not show there, but positions held for over a year and closed at a loss do not support the claim.

What would change this verdict is set out in the disclosures below.

Methodology
ⓘ

Evaluation Methodology

We assessed FX Scalper 4X on its live record, under Track 1 of our methodology. We listed all 22 systems on the vendor's Myfxbook profile (FXSCALPERX) and read eight 4X accounts in full, including their verification badges. We pulled the complete closed-trade histories of two 4X accounts — Aggressive/Standard (12030755, 8,856 trades), the account the sales page features first, and Passive+ (10327840, 14,593 trades), one of the longest-running Vantage accounts — and of one FX Scalper X account (11977547, 303 trades). Each history's trade count and closed profit match Myfxbook's totals; on Passive+ the cash entries do not (see the note under the account list).

We grouped positions opened in the same direction on the same pair while an earlier one was still open. We also read the vendor's sales page (including the separate X and 4X tabs; archived copy), its refund policy, terms and affiliate page, two older product pages still online, Trustpilot and Forex Peace Army. The sales page makes no prop-firm claim, so no prop-firm test applies, and it does not mention the MQL5 Market.

Note: figures were read on 27 October 2026 and are a dated snapshot, not a live feed. Each Myfxbook drawdown figure is the highest of three measures Myfxbook keeps (equity at the end of each day, equity at each account update, and growth drawdown), so a dip between observations may not show. Figures marked "our calculation" are from the closed-trade histories. Open trades on the featured account are private on Myfxbook, so we could not see their ages. Myfxbook verification confirms the record matches the broker and that the owner has trading access; it does not identify which software placed each trade. We did not test the EA ourselves.

Why the two gains differMyfxbook's +1,041.55% compounds each period's return and ignores money moved in and out; +232.62% is profit divided by deposits. Withdrawals exceed deposits, so neither figure is the return on a single deposit left to run
Equity at our check$360,570.94, 76.56% of balance — $110,384.69 in open losses on 27 October 2026
Drawdown on closed trades only15.60% (our calculation, $270,918.99 to $228,667.40 by 14 January 2025; deposits and withdrawals excluded). How the EA Trades — What the Histories Show

Both full 4X histories show the same pattern. When the price moved against an open position, another was opened in the same direction at a worse price, at about the same size, and the positions were often closed together. The vendor's own description of 4X, quoted below, matches this.

In this section, an "add" is a new position on the same pair and direction opened while an earlier one is still open, at a worse price than at least one of the open positions; a "group" is a run of overlapping positions on one pair in one direction.

Passive+ (10327840), full history8,540 of 14,593 trades were adds (a further seven were added at an equal or better price). Groups reached 55 positions. The longest: EURCAD sells of 0.10 lots, added about every 40 pips from 1.48236 (18 February 2025) to 1.64437 (17 October 2025) — about 1,620 pips against the first entry — and all closed on 9 March 2026. The first was open 383.3 days and closed at −USC641.61; the group as a whole closed at −USC1,549.16
Aggressive/Standard (12030755), full history4,568 of 8,856 trades were adds. Groups reached 78 positions (EURUSD sells, 7 May – 2 August 2024), 57 (USDJPY buys) and 55 (CADJPY buys, July – October 2024). 14 groups stayed open longer than 90 days
SizesWithin groups, sizes were mostly level. On 12030755, 22 adds were larger than a position already open, for example a USDJPY sell of 0.13 lots followed by one of 1.00 at a worse price (May 2024). The analysis does not show that these increases were triggered by losses, and there is no doubling sequence: martingale is not established
Opposite positions at onceNone on Passive+; 11 trades on 12030755
What the vendor saysThe sales page's 4X tab describes "our grid trading algorithm and probably the #1 grid AI on the market. Smart-entry logic combined with strategic position layering across high-probability zones … Engineered to deliver grid system performance without grid system risk."

This is averaging: positions added in the same direction at worse prices, which our methodology rates Not Recommended.

How Long Losses Stayed Open

The median trade on both 4X accounts closed within about half a day; we publish the longest positions because averages hide the ones that matter — see our methodology.

Longest single position407.3 days — a USDCHF buy on 12030755, 12 May 2025 to 23 June 2026, closed at −$682.09. On Passive+, 383.3 days (the first EURCAD sell above, closed at −USC641.61)
Longest groupMeasured from the first entry to the last close. USDCHF buys on 12030755, 14 March 2025 07:45 to 23 June 2026 21:38: 466.6 days, 8 positions of 0.83–1.07 lots, net +$11,628. Next on the same account: EURGBP sells, 27 May 2025 to 8 July 2026, about 407 days, 3 positions of 3.05 lots, net +$10,162
Longest open drawdownOn Myfxbook's time-weighted equity-growth chart (687 data points), 12030755 stayed below its previous peak for 187 days (19 April – 23 October 2024), and on 22 October 2026 had been below its 29 April 2026 peak for 176 days. Time below a peak is not the same as one position held at a loss, and the chart's points can miss a recovery between them
Open at our check12030755 equity 76.56% of balance on 27 October 2026 ($110,384.69 of open losses); the ages of open trades are private. Passive+ last updated 12 June 2026 at 86.33%; 10312396 last updated 1 May 2026 at 54.50%
Against the 90-day ruleNot measured as written — the histories show positions open far longer than 90 days, but not their open profit or loss day by day. A Recommended verdict cannot rest on a measure that was not taken. This verdict rests on the averaging

What the Sales Page Says, and What the Record Shows

Quoted from the vendor's sales page, read on 27 October 2026 (archived copy).

"No grid · no martingale" (listed under "EVERY PLAN INCLUDES", with "FX SCALPER 4X algo") and, in the FAQ, "we don't use grid or martingale strategies"The same page's 4X tab: "FX SCALPER 4X is our grid trading algorithm". The histories show averaging on both full records; martingale is not established
"TP + SL on every trade" and "The algos use fixed stop losses on every trade by design"Myfxbook recorded no stop loss or take profit on any of the 14,593 Passive+ trades; a stop managed inside the EA would not show there. Positions held 383.3 and 407.3 days, closed at a loss, do not support the claim. (The 12030755 history does not include stop-loss fields, so we could not assess its stops; the FX Scalper X account we read in full has one on every trade.)
"Engineered to deliver grid system performance without grid system risk"Myfxbook drawdowns of up to 77.86% on the vendor's real 4X accounts; four above 75%
"no blown accounts"We found no wipeout in the published 4X accounts we examined; that says nothing about accounts that are not published. The deepest drawdown is 77.86% (10312396), whose equity was 54.50% of its balance when it stopped updating on 1 May 2026
"15+ years of verified data"The same page calls it "15+ years of backtested data" and "15,625 simulated trades". The 4X tab's backtest figures (win rate 80.1%, profit factor 4.23) compare with 71.7% and 1.97 on the featured live account
The cards labelled "Live Gain""+862%, 35 months" links to 12030755, which now shows +1,041.55% time-weighted and a 75.48% drawdown the card does not mention; "+40%, 7 months" (FX Scalper X) links to 11848891, a demo account; "+11%, 4 months" (FX Scalper X) links to 11977547, now −31.19%
"4.5 / 5 · verified by Trustpilot"Trustpilot shows "This company's rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines" and "We've removed a number of fake reviews for this company" (read 27 October 2026). That is Trustpilot's statement; it does not say who wrote the reviews
"Compatible with any MT4 broker" and "Compatible with any MT5 broker"As run, account 12030755 held opposite positions on a pair at the same time, which US retail forex accounts cannot do (below). Every account we read is MT4

Price and Licence Terms

Price$488.88 one time, "Lifetime access to FX SCALPER X + FX SCALPER 4X"; the page says the price rises $100 every 200 orders ("104 of 200 sold" on 27 October 2026)
What you getBoth EAs, with lifetime updates
PlatformMT4 and MT5 on the current sales page; its FAQ calls it "a fully automated trading system that runs on MetaTrader 4", and an older 4X page still online says "FX SCALPER 4X is currently only compatible with MetaTrader 4". Every account we read, and every system on the two profile pages that loaded, is MT4, so we found no MT5 live record; we have not tested either platform
SettingsThe accounts are labelled Serenity, Conservative, Passive, Passive+, Moderate, Standard, Aggressive, News Filter and Manual Lot Size, several with "Usage A"; the pages we read do not explain them
Minimum depositThe FAQ says "Technically $100, but $500+ is recommended". That is the vendor's figure, not one we have tested. The two 4X histories we read in full started with about $1,000 (Passive+, a cent account) and $6,354.37 (12030755), so neither shows how the EA behaves on $100–$500
Guarantee"180-Day Capital Protection Money-Back Guarantee": the published wording says that if the trading account is "reduced to zero within 180 days", the vendor reimburses "your full lost capital plus every membership fee you've paid". As written, a drawdown short of zero does not qualify
Refund policy"There are no refunds for any products/services offered by FX SCALPER X. All sales are final." (refund policy). The sales page does not reconcile this with the guarantee; if you buy, ask the vendor to confirm in writing which applies
BillingThe sales page says "No subscriptions. No recurring fees" and "Cancel anytime in one click from your account"; the terms authorise automatic card charges "according to the billing period" for any subscription. We draw no conclusion about how buyers are billed
US brokers (FIFO, no hedging)No, as run: 12030755 held opposite positions on the same pair at the same time (11 trades), and the FX Scalper X account 11977547 did so 59 times; US retail forex accounts cannot hold offsetting positions (NFA Compliance Rule 2-43). Both records also closed positions out of opening order (239 times on 12030755, 203 on Passive+, 82 on 11977547), which may also conflict with first-in, first-out rules depending on position sizes. Whether a setting avoids this is not stated

Key Evaluation Criteria

  • ❌ No grid, averaging, martingale or recovery strategy: failed. Same-direction positions added at worse prices on both full 4X histories (8,540 of 14,593; 4,568 of 8,856), groups of up to 78; the vendor's 4X tab calls it a grid.
  • ❌ Claims match the record: failed. "No grid" against the vendor's own "grid trading algorithm"; "fixed stop losses on every trade" not supported by the records; a demo account shown as "Live Gain".
  • ⚠️ Drawdown in line with the marketing: the page states no drawdown figure but promises "grid system performance without grid system risk"; the vendor's real 4X accounts reached 7.30% to 77.86%.
  • ✅ No wipeout or near-wipeout: none of the published 4X accounts we examined lost substantially all of its balance; the deepest drawdown is 77.86%.
  • ✅ Edge: profit factor clear of 1.0, profit not concentrated: 1.97 on 12030755 (the ten best trades are 12.0% of closed profit) and 1.82 on Passive+. A 71.7% win rate with average losses larger than average wins (payoff 0.78) is a warning, not a fail.
  • ✅ Real-money record of 24+ months and 300+ trades: 12030755: over three years (July 2023 – October 2026), 8,856 trades.
  • ✅ Third-party verified track record: all eight 4X accounts we read show track record and trading privileges verified.
  • ➖ No loss held open beyond 90 days: not measured as written; single positions were open up to 407.3 days and groups up to 466.6 days.

Suitability & Risks

What's Genuinely Positive

What the record does show

Long, verified, profitable records.

  • ✅Long, real-money, Myfxbook-verified records: the featured account has run since July 2023 and is still trading.
  • ✅That account has made $511,609.23 of closed profit, and more has been withdrawn than deposited.
  • ✅Profit factor 1.97, with profit spread across many trades.
  • ✅No martingale sequence found, and no wipeout in the published 4X accounts we examined.
  • ✅The 4X tab describes the EA as a grid, so the method is disclosed there.
Key Risks

What to watch

Every item is sourced to the vendor's own accounts or pages.

  • ⚠️Averaging: each move against an open position can bring another position the same way, so a move that does not come back is met with a growing total position.
  • ⚠️Drawdowns on the vendor's real 4X accounts reach 77.86%; four exceed 75%.
  • ⚠️Positions open for more than a year; on 27 October 2026 the featured account carried $110,384.69 of open losses.
  • ⚠️Average loss larger than average win on both full histories (0.78 and 0.82).
  • ⚠️The settings behind the accounts are not explained, and the four Vantage accounts we read stopped updating in May–June 2026.
  • ⚠️The published guarantee applies only if the account reaches zero within 180 days; the refund policy says all sales are final.
  • ⚠️Not usable at a US retail forex account as run (opposite positions held at once).

Important Disclosures

Verification History
27 October 2026 — first published, Not Recommended (FX Scalper 4X); FX Scalper X not rated. Figures read on 27 October 2026 from the vendor's Myfxbook profile, eight 4X accounts in full and the complete histories of three accounts, the sales page and its tabs, the refund, terms and affiliate pages, two older product pages, Trustpilot and Forex Peace Army. We do not edit published figures to track current values; we add dated entries here instead.
28 October 2026 — wording updated for two methodology changes adopted that day. Grid and averaging strategies are now rated Not Recommended rather than only ruled out for a Recommended verdict, and a real-money record of 12 months and 300 closed trades can now support an Early Review. No figures and no verdict changed.
What would change this verdict. These are the conditions under which we would reassess:
  • A real-money 4X account of at least 24 months and 300 trades, at a setting the vendor names, whose history shows no positions added against the market, would trigger a fresh Full Review. While 4X adds positions at worse prices, it is Not Recommended under our criteria.
  • FX Scalper X will be eligible for its own verdict when one of its real-money accounts reaches 12 months and 300 closed trades: provided its record continues, February 2027 at the earliest, for 11977547 (303 trades when we read it on 27 October 2026), as an Early Review that cannot be Recommended. A Recommended verdict needs 24 months: February 2028 at the earliest.
Which EA this review rates. The licence covers both EAs, and the sales page presents results from both. FX Scalper 4X has the long record, so the verdict is about 4X. FX Scalper X is a separate algorithm, which the vendor describes as "single-entry", with its own short record; its losses are reported above but play no part in the 4X verdict.
The vendor's pages disagree with each other. Besides the grid statements above, two older product pages are still online. One for 4X offers a "60 Day Capital Protection" if you "lose 80% or more of your capital", an offer it says was "only valid until 6/15/2024", at $550, and says 4X works only on MetaTrader 4. Another, at /fx4/, shows "+2,847% Total Return", "4.2% Max Drawdown", "Active Since Jan 2020" and "No grid, no martingale", figures that match none of the accounts we read. We base nothing on these pages beyond noting they are still public.
Independent reviews. Trustpilot's profile for fxscalperx.com shows the company's rating as unavailable "due to a breach of our guidelines" and says it has "removed a number of fake reviews for this company"; it does not say who wrote them (read 27 October 2026). Forex Peace Army lists it as "Not yet rated" with 0 reviews (updated 10 September 2026). Individual reviews on Trustpilot are users' accounts, not facts we have verified, and play no part in the verdict.
Affiliate Disclosure: FX Scalper X has an affiliate programme that pays "35% on every referral — recurring" (vendor's affiliate page, 27 October 2026). A Recommended verdict here could have earned us commission. We have not joined the programme, we reached Not Recommended, and no link on this page is an affiliate link. Under our methodology we only apply to a programme after an Expert Advisor has passed. We did not contact the vendor before publication; this assessment rests on material the vendor and the platforms publish.
Corrections. If you are the vendor and believe a figure here is wrong, contact us at [email protected] with the evidence; we will check it and record any change in the verification history above.
Risk warning. Trading foreign exchange and contracts for difference carries a high level of risk and can result in the loss of all invested capital. Frequently Asked Questions

Is FX Scalper X a scam?
We have seen no evidence of fraud and we do not call it one. The vendor publishes many real-money Myfxbook accounts, and the ones we read are verified. Our concerns are specific. About FX Scalper 4X, the EA we rate: its published accounts add positions against the market. About the sales page for both EAs: it says "No grid" while its own 4X tab calls 4X "our grid trading algorithm", and one of its "Live Gain" cards links to a demo account.
Why is FX Scalper 4X rated Not Recommended?
Because its trade histories show averaging: positions added in the same direction at worse prices, 4,568 of 8,856 trades on the account the sales page features first, in groups of up to 78. Our methodology rates any averaging or grid strategy Not Recommended, and the sales page says the opposite of what its own 4X tab says.
Why does this review not give FX Scalper X its own verdict?
Because its own real-money record is too short. Its two real accounts began on 2 February and 14 April 2026, and we give a verdict only on a real-money record of at least 12 months and 300 trades, with 24 months needed for a Recommended verdict. On 27 October 2026 both were losing: −31.19% and −33.96%.
Does FX Scalper 4X use a grid or martingale?
Its published accounts show an averaging grid, and the vendor's own 4X tab calls it "our grid trading algorithm". Martingale is not established: sizes within a group were mostly level, and there is no doubling sequence.
Does FX Scalper 4X use a stop loss on every trade?
The sales page says so. On the Passive+ account, whose full 14,593-trade history we read, Myfxbook recorded no stop loss or take profit on any trade, though a stop managed inside the EA would not show there. Positions were held 383.3 and 407.3 days and closed at a loss, which does not substantiate "fixed stop losses on every trade". The FX Scalper X account we read in full does set a stop on every trade.
Are the FX Scalper accounts verified by Myfxbook?
Yes: all eight 4X accounts we read, and both real FX Scalper X accounts, show track record and trading privileges verified. Verification confirms the record matches the broker; it does not say which software placed each trade. One account behind a "Live Gain" card, 11848891, is a demo.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
The sales page offers a "180-Day Capital Protection Money-Back Guarantee"; the published wording says it pays if your trading account is "reduced to zero within 180 days". As written, a drawdown short of zero does not qualify. The refund policy says "There are no refunds … All sales are final", and the pages do not reconcile the two.
Can I use FX Scalper X with a US broker?
Not as either EA's published accounts ran. The 4X account 12030755 and the FX Scalper X account 11977547 both held opposite positions on the same pair at the same time, which US retail forex accounts at NFA-member dealers cannot do (NFA Compliance Rule 2-43). Both also closed positions out of opening order. The pages we read do not mention a setting that changes this.
