The rest of the developer's record. The developer's main Myfxbook profile, which we read in full on 8 October 2026, lists real-money accounts going back to 2015 alongside demo accounts. Among its real accounts named for Flex EA that show any trading, maximum drawdown runs from 12.46% to 99.92%, and eight of them exceed 70%. A second profile adds five real accounts, with maximum drawdowns from 7.58% to 70.77%, and four MT5 demo accounts, one of them at −85.87%. Each account runs a different strategy, so we record the range rather than an average.

How the Default Settings Handle a Losing Trade
Quoted from the vendor's own settings guide, read on 8 October 2026. These are the defaults a buyer starts with.
Stop loss"RealStopLoss = 0.0 … It's recommended leaving this at 0 for the default settings and using the DD_StoplossPct setting as a stoploss instead."
Adding to a losing tradeAnother trade opens each time price moves 21 pips against the last one ("PipStep = 21"), up to five buys or five sells per pair ("MaxBuyTrades = 5")
Size of each added trade"LotMultiplier = 1.9 … the lot size of the last real trade opened will be multiplied by this value for the next trade to open in order to salvage profits." The guide's strategy table gives 1.7 for the Default strategy. At 1.7 the fifth trade is 8.4 times the first and the basket holds 18.9 times the first lot; at 1.9 the figures are 13.0 and 26.4
The only exitA basket closes when its loss reaches 35% of the account balance ("DD_StoplossPct= 35"), per chart by default
What this isAdding ever larger positions to a losing trade, with no stop loss, is a martingale grid. Our FTMO test reproduced it: the robot's grid added 0.34 and then 0.58 lots, 1.7 times each previous trade
How Long Losses Stayed Open
An average trade length of 2 days can hide long positions, so we publish them. A floating loss still open and unrecovered 90 days after it began rules out a Recommended verdict under our methodology. Measured on Default 3 VT 2025, counting a basket of trades on one pair as one position, from its first order to its last close.
Longest positionAn AUDCAD sell basket of five trades, open from 24 April to 26 June 2025: 63 days, closed −$47.60. Next longest: a five-trade EURJPY buy basket, 15 May to 26 June 2025, 43 days, closed +$3,320.88
Longest open drawdownNot measurable from the public record, which does not show floating profit and loss per position. Separately, the balance stayed below its 24 July 2025 high for 238 days, until 19 March 2026: a closed-trade drawdown, not a position held open
Open at our checkNone. The last trade closed on 4 May 2026 and the account was emptied on 25 June 2026
Against the 90-day ruleNot triggered on what the record shows: no basket stayed open for 90 days. Because floating losses cannot be measured, this record could not support a Recommended verdict on this point. The verdict rests on the other findings
What the Sales Page Says, and What the Record Shows
Quoted from the vendor's sales page and settings guide, read on 8 October 2026, against the Myfxbook accounts they link.
"Verified Real Account": "Here is a real money account being 100% controlled by our fully automated trading robot"Global DE TDI Slope Cross & Close. "Can Pass FTMO Prop Firm Challenges"Our test of the vendor's own FTMO settings file on FTMO's data failed (below), and FundedNext bans Forex Flex EA by name
"99% Backtests"The vendor's settings guide: "because of the way the virtual trading technology works within Flex EA, backtesting will not provide accurate results"
Settings guide: "taking $5000 to $950,000 before hitting a major loss"The account the guide links for this claim, Flex EA Global DE TDI Slope, is a demo account with a maximum drawdown of 91.71%, last updated 6 May 2022
Settings guide: "The out of the box settings on 10 pairs can net you 10-25% per month"The developer's verified Default 3 VT 2025 ranged from −45.0% to +100.4% a month, and made 21% in total over its first 12 months ($1,056.68 on $5,000)
Our FTMO Challenge Test
A conformance test of one configuration against one firm's rules, not a review. Run on FTMO's own server data under our published method; every result is on Best EA for a Prop Firm Challenge.
What was testedFlex EA MT5 FTMO v5.3, the vendor's prop firm build, with the vendor's own settings file "FTMO RSI 90 5 Cross M30 v1.set", unmodified. EURUSD, 30-minute chart
EnvironmentMT5 Strategy Tester on an FTMO Free Trial, 100% history quality, £10,000 at 1:100, 1 January 2025 to 1 October 2026. FTMO's tester charged £24.95 commission
Outcome−£317.76 (−3.18%), 29 trades, profit factor 0.60, maximum equity drawdown 7.47%
Daily loss limitThe 1-Step challenge's 3% daily limit was broken on closed trades alone: −£314.83 on 3 February 2025 and −£364.67 on 5 February 2025
Why it stopped tradingThe settings file carries a 30-day maximum trading period ("FTMO_Max_Trading_Days=30"), a deadline FTMO no longer imposes. The robot stopped trading on 11 February 2025 and never resumed
Desperation modeBehind target near that deadline, it raised its starting lot from 0.03 to 0.20, as the vendor's guide describes: it "will force trades open if you reach a point in your challenge where you only have a few days left". Its grid then added 0.34 and 0.58 lots
ResultFail. The profit target was not reached, and the 1-Step daily loss limit was broken twice

Key Evaluation Criteria
-
❌
Evidence authenticity: fails. None of the ten accounts the sales page links is a current real-money account with a verified track record; three are demo accounts, one of them described as a "real money account".
-
❌
Risk structure: fails. By the vendor's own settings guide, the default strategy has no stop loss and multiplies the lot size of every trade it adds to a losing basket.
-
❌
Drawdown on real money: fails. The developer's three verified 2025 accounts reached 99.92%, 93.81% and 75.15%.
-
❌
Prop firm claim: fails. The vendor's own FTMO settings file failed our test on FTMO's data, and FundedNext bans Forex Flex EA by name (see prop firms that allow EAs).
-
⚠️
Track record length: the longest verified real account from 2025 traded for about 13½ months, short of the 24 months we want before a recommendation, and it has since closed.
-
⚠️
Open-trade duration: no basket stayed open for 90 days (longest 63), but the public record cannot show how long floating losses lasted.
-
✅
Account transparency: passes. The developer leaves its losing accounts, including the −99.90% one, on the same public profile as its winners.
-
✅
US broker rules: pass, as run on Default 3 VT 2025: no hedged positions and no out-of-order closes.
Suitability & Risks
What's Genuinely Positive
To be fair to the product
The developer is unusually open about how the robot works and what it has lost.
- ✅Losing accounts stay public on the developer's Myfxbook profile, beside the winners.
- ✅The 2025 accounts are real money, verified by Myfxbook, and one made +309.57%.
- ✅A detailed settings guide that states plainly that the default has no stop loss.
- ✅A transferable licence with unlimited demo accounts, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
- ✅On sale since at least 2014, with 89 reviews on ForexPeaceArmy averaging 4.1.
Key Risks
Why we will not recommend it
Every item here is sourced to the vendor's own accounts or pages, or to our test.
- ⚠️No stop loss by default, and larger lots added to every losing basket.
- ⚠️Two of the developer's three verified 2025 accounts lost more than 90%.
- ⚠️The profitable one fell 65% in ten days and 75% later, and made 93% of its profit in three months.
- ⚠️The sales page's "real" and "live" accounts are demos, unverified, out of date or gone.
- ⚠️The vendor itself says its backtests are not accurate, so a buyer cannot test settings reliably.
- ⚠️Its prop firm settings file failed our FTMO test and raises lot size when behind target.
